T nuts also known as Tee Nuts , it is made in a sheet and has four prongs after bended these prongs can be bite into wooden material to prevent itself from backing . in the centre of t nut is a cylinder with inside threaded hole that provides a place for a mating threaded screw or shaft .

Material
T nuts are normally made of carbon steel with zinc plated for the most applications but stainless steels are used for some special applications that need more heavy load and high strength requested .

Directions for Installation
Compared to other nuts , T nuts are more easy and simple on operation and efficiency .
Step 1
Drill full hole on material that diameter is same as the cylinder diameter of t nut , the hole depth as the length of cylinder T nut .
Step 2
Insert cylinder of t nut into hole and strike T nut in a hammer to drive it into material and four prongs bite into material .
Step 3
Put threaded screw or bolt through object and then into t nut from opposite side .
Step 4
Rotate screw or bolt or a attached nut to fasten object on material .

T nuts are mainly used to furniture to secure parts and make a collection parts .
